From Jungle Drops to City Streets

In the mid-1950s, U.S. military spec sheets laid the blueprint for what would become the definitive field watch. From MIL-W-6433/A to the later A17/A designs, these watches were built tough—with high-grade movements, robust cases, and clean 12/24-hour dials that defined military utility.

As specs evolved through MIL-W-3818 and 46374, so did the legend. Our inspiration for the Kilroy draws directly from this legacy—and saw its civilian counterpart rise to icon status when Steve McQueen strapped it on in Bullitt.

We've reimagined it with modern materials and dimensions and smooth sweeping quartz internals, but kept the heart and grit of the originals. You may not be parachuting into enemy territory, but it’s good to know your watch is ready if you are.

High Contrast. No Compromise.

As expected from a military-spec tool watch, the Kilroy prioritizes instant legibility. Its high-contrast dial is stripped of distractions, with bold numerals for quick reading and an inner scale for military time. The pencil-style hour and minute hands are all business, and the red seconds hand gives clear visual confirmation of movement at a glance.

GLOW IN THE DARK

While original issued watches used hazardous radium or tritium for nighttime visibility, the Kilroy uses non-radioactive Super-LumiNova—off-white by day, glowing green in low light. All three hands, large numerals and triangular markers are coated for visibility, and the Ghost model features a fully glow-in-the-dark dial that lights up like a landing strip at night.
