Very nice watch well built easy to read with a glance glows brightly when dark out the leather strap is comfortable
Very happy with this watch and the bands tha were offered with it. Beautifully made at a resonable price. The box and packaging made me smile. I wil will be back for another Redwood soon....
Everything, cars, boats, planes and even watches are a compromise. Once you decide where your interest are, you proceed to find the object with the least amount of compromises. Hence Redwood! Was so impressed with the Tactical V3 I’ve ordered another watch (Vulcan). It’s not a matter of “For the money” it’s a great watch at any price! Redwood - stay true to your original goals - your making a difference.
I’ve had my Tactical Solar V-3 for a few years and am completely satisfied with it. There was 1 problem (while still under warranty), I sent it back & rather than fix it, it was replaced with a new watch. Fine with me .
It’s been a few years since and it’s fine.
I’m tempted to purchase another of their watches….but have resisted…..so far!
This is a brilliant watch, super functional and it looks great on the wrist. My only draw back however was the bonklip i was slightly disappointed by it, Im not sure if all bonklips are like this but it felt cheap and if I slightly bump it it comes undone which isn’t very good for spear fishing and diving which is where I will wear this watch. So Im just going to get a simple NATO strap to fix this issue.
I will say the bonklip still looks great it’s just not where I need it to be sturdiness wise.

I have owned this watch for about three years love it! Looks great, easy read face if your vision isn't as sharp as it once was. Bright long lasting lume and it keeps accurate time. I'm kinda rough on watches and my REDWOOD just shrugs of the beating. Reasonable price, great quality and craftsmanship.👍
Took Deliver on my V3 Solar Frogman with the Jungle Rubber Strap this past Saturday. While the build quality of the watch along with the legible dial and good lume were impressive, the strap actually felt like it was plastic. Found the strap to be somewhat stiff compared to other variations of the famous Tropic Rubber Strap I've owned in the past. Hence the name of my review. In addition, the strap came with only one Strapkeeper and was a little on the long side for my 7.5" wrist.
I got the Kilroy - Black (Solar) to travel with. It was everything I was looking for, a good looking, sturdy watch. Since it's a solar watch I didn't have to worry about charging or winding it. It kept reliable time. In addition, since I traveled over several time zones, it was very easy to change the time. Overall I was extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this watch.
There is everything to appreciate about this watch: build quality, look, value, and it being Canadian conceived. Now that I have one, and I believe firsthand all that I've read, zero hesitation to get my next one. Well done, Redwood.
..but hard to make out the hands, because they're very thin, and the black subdials partially obscure them.
I've compared a ton of watches over the last several years, looking for just the right combination of simple but classic styling and excellent functionality. I love everything about my Redwood watch. I literally wear it 24 hours a day, most days of the week. I only wish I could afford to buy more of these in slightly different looks for every day of the week.

Lovely colors, classic simple design
Couldn't be more pleased with my choice. The watch face and numbers are very easily read at a quick glance and it looks great paired with the incredibly comfortable bonklip bracelet. Plus the convenience of solar power means it'll be a mainstay watch for me for probably decades.
The watch is beautiful and feels solid. No need to spend thousands of dollars on a watch.

I am happy to have it but I am not feeling comfortable enough.
After much consideration I finally decided on the Redwood Vulcan QuadPulse Solar as a birthday gift for my son and bought one as well as a momento. My son loves his and having the same in a different tone and strap colour is cool. Quality watch at a reasonable price, looks good, and stands up to outdoor punishment. So far it does what it says on the box, and I love the retro aviation styling.
I wish it was heftier. Heavier. Thicker. It’s a nice watch but it’s very light - some may like that, but I like knowing it’s on my wrist as opposed to forgetting.
When I became a Helicopter Aircraft Commander (HAC), part of the ritual was to receive a MIL issue, wind up watch. Earned, not given, never bought. Plastic lowest price bidder, the “crystal” cracked and ever since I have been chasing a replacement. Redwood met and exceeded.
