Prototype - Field v3 - Polar Full-Lume (Automatic)

Our Field v3 reinterprets the A-11, the field watch often called “the watch that won the war”. This prototype is an early build with a Miyota 82S0 automatic movement instead of the production solar movement. The dial is off-white/greenish and fully glows in the dark, with large numerals and pencil-shaped hands. The 40mm stainless steel case has a flat sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown and 100m water resistance. The caseback is engraved in the style of a government-contract watch. It comes on a classic brown leather strap.

About prototypes & samples

This watch is a prototype or sample that was designed and built by Redwood but never released to the market. Please read the following before purchasing:

• Final sale. We do not accept exchanges or returns on prototypes and samples.
• Fully functional. All watches are tested and in working order.
• 24-month warranty. The standard Redwood 24-month warranty applies to the watch’s functionality.
• Condition. Prototypes and samples are new but might have been used for photography and/or media reviewing, so they may show minor scratches or signs of wear. The photos on this page show the exact watch you will receive.
• Differences from production models. Prototypes may differ from the final production version in details such as dial color, finishing, movement or specifications. The description on this page applies to this specific watch only.
• Limited availability. Each prototype is a single piece. Once it’s sold, it’s gone.
