Comfortable :)

For context (the shortest I could get the strap to fit, based on the closest position of the bottom loop keeper to the bottom lug. All measurements include the buckle with a 195 mm wrist):
For the mil-spec leather nato strap:
From top lug of strap to wrist 18 mm.
From the top, fits on the 6th notch down is 212 mm circumference (This is just a bit tighter than I’d usually like. Using the 7th is just a bit too loose at approximately 218 mm). This leaves approximately 25 mm exposed from the bottom tip of the strap past the second strap loop keeper.

Unexpected, but good

I didn’t know what a NATO strap was, but I needed to replace my old strap. I’m a larger guy and I love the proportions. I also love that it allows you to have a snug, but not super tight fit.
