Our inspiration for the Redwood Pilot Type B watch would be supplied to fighter pilots during WW2 and achieve legendary status. Reinterpreted with modern dimensions and updated technology, it is ready for anything you throw at it. Even though most of us will never intercept enemy aircraft mid-air, it is impressive to know the Type B has a solid historical background and the means to back its looks.
At the heart of the Pilot Type B Quad-Pulse beats the Seiko VH31—a movement that brings the best of both worlds. With its smooth sweeping seconds hand ticking four times per second, it has the visual rhythm of an automatic, minus the maintenance. No winding, no adjustments.
