This is a great watch. Looks great - works well, just as comfortable working in the office, coaching baseball or cutting down trees with a chainsaw.

I wanted a watch that I could wear all day at work and not be worried about banging it up. I landed on the Recon and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality along with affordability. It’s a great watch for anyone just getting into watches or anyone that wants something new to their collection. Any other brand and you would probably be paying at least double for a comparable watch.

I looked at so many watches before deciding on the Pilot A-13 solar in brushed stainless. Redwood won me over with the incredibly easy to read dial and aviation heritage. I can always read the time, even without glasses. I love the sweep second hand, flat crystal and lume. Everything about this watch is simple, functional and refined. This is now my everyday watch. I like it so much that I also got the black case A-13 for special occasions. They run within +5 seconds per month to NIST time. The provided leather NATO straps are a good value and extremely comfortable, though they’re a bit thin and I’m not sure how long they’ll last. I’m investing in a custom made leather strap. I expect to have these watches for many years to come and I’m sure they won’t be my last 2 Redwoods.

I got the Kilroy - Black (Solar) to travel with. It was everything I was looking for, a good looking, sturdy watch. Since it's a solar watch I didn't have to worry about charging or winding it. It kept reliable time. In addition, since I traveled over several time zones, it was very easy to change the time. Overall I was extremely pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this watch.

Ordered in March 24 , arrived in New Zealand after a short delay in Australia, no fault of Redwood , Ordered the olive canvas Nato and leather straps , both awesome . Set the watch, now almost 6 months later , 3 seconds fast ...over 6 months that's frigging amazing. I'll only have to set this twice a year ( daylight savings changes ).I Have worn the frogman every day for work , only change was I put a parachute elastic marine strap on it which is super comfortable and suits the tactical look , hardly know it's there.And the watch face goes with my bike . Couldn't be happier with the purchase, thanks Redwood.

I couldn’t be happier with this watch. I chose it because I like the look. Another company up north sells a similar looking watch for 9x the price and I’m so glad I went with Redwood. Arrived with no fit and finish issues at all. Haven’t had to reset the time in months. Great customer service too. I’m a police dog handler and while working my dog the watch got caught up with my dog’s collar and a spring pin broke. The watch went skidding across the pavement. Not a single scratch on it, plus I e-mailed Redwood about the broken pin (any pin would have broken under that stress) and 20 minutes later they had new pins and the pin tool in the mail under warranty. Can’t beat that.

Great looking watch this pilot and Navy Vietnam Veteran is proud to have on his wrist. The white dial and black leather band look fantastic. I also have the army green and tan leather which look great too.

I am an officer for a fire department engine company and I was looking for a stylish chronograph watch that doesn't break the bank and this is it. I could not be happier with the Recon Commando. I can use the stopwatch feature to time things like length of time we are on scene, time my crew is in an IDLH atmosphere, or certain landmarks during patient care. The classic style based on WW2 pilot's watches also looks great dressed up when I take my wife out to dinner at night.

Watch is as described and a tremendous value. It is a great every day watch for golf, fishing and water sports. I also wear it around town and the office. I wouldn’t pair it with a suit, but that isn’t its design. More than worth the price and would buy again.
